Great site going on here!  Just curious if there are any plans in expanding the site to provide guild information (sometimes makes it easier to track down a character).  Also, a recent character addition link would be great, that way no one gets their work lost in the mix.  I don’t know if any of that is possible (I’m not that great with creating websites), but I like what is here!

Guild information and guild blogs are on the list of things to do. Their pages will likely be taking a similar format as character profiles and blogs.

I like your idea of a recent character addition link, too!

Oooh my goodness. This is a fantastic, wonderful idea. Who thought of this? What inspired them? Who all is part of this? Love love love. My thesis, working on currently and to be finished by the end of April, is on Online Identity. And… I’m researching character creation/maintenance in-game…. then found this. Bringing a new and extremely interesting point to my research. I’m seriously having excited-nerd overload. I just want to … kiss you all!

<blush> We thank you! :)   And we hope you’ll love the features we’re planning on adding even more! (Dare we mention a calendar, twitter-style status updates, and guild blogs coming up very shortly?)

Well, some of the ideas here–like the IC commenting system–was conjured up by an RPer group over at the Raven Mythic forums. They’re one of the RP communities for Antonia Bayle server on Everquest 2. I left WoW for a while to play over there, and came back with all sorts of ideas, both for this website and for the Spring Festival, which is based on a series of Festivals they hold on that server. (Much, much, bigger festivals that the EQ2 devs even help in, if you can believe that!)

The others have been just me and Alelsa talking and coming up with ideas of what would be convenient and neat for RPers to use. Folks visiting the site have also given their input to make it even better. We’ve gotten a lot of feedback, which makes this troll happy.

If you have any questions, Alelsa and I would be happy to answer them. I also suggest heading over to the Raven Mythic for more thesis fodder (just Google that, should be the first thing that comes up). If they ask, you can tell them Yezra sent you. :)
