Physical Description:
Cray is a large, muscular man of average height. He has green eyes and dark skin. His skin is tanned and weathered from spending a great deal of time out-of-doors.
Threat Assessment:
Cray has spent the majority of his life training as a warrior and is adept in the use of most weapons, and in the skill of improvising weapons from every day objects. Although his training through use of the Light has only been a few years, he is able to wield it as a weapon with rather alarming ferocity.
Special Abilities:
Cray has the offensive abilities of the Light that are at the disposal of most Paladins.
Positive Personality Traits:
Cray is fiercely loyal to his order and his friends. He is not often quick to make judgements on others based upon their first impressions.
Negative Personality Traits:
Cray is a recovering alcoholic who has been severely, emotionally damaged by his upbringing. Though he seldom shares it, except in emotional outbursts, he holds in a great deal of anger. Cray is also far from being the smartest Paladin in the world, and often has trouble following more subtle trains of thought.
Miscellaneous Quirks:
Cray is literate, though only barely. He attempts to speak in a manner that makes him sound more educated than he is. His ability to spell is poor and his handwriting is barely legible.
History:
Cray was born shortly before the beginning of the First War in Goldshire. His father rescued him from the Orcish attack on the village, though his mother vanished in the attack.
From that point on, driven by his own anger at the loss of his wife, Cray's father trained for war and, similarly, trained his son in a harsh and unforgiving way -- raising him in the lands of Lordaeron.
By the time of the Third War, both men offered their services as warriors to the Alliance. They were soon separated and, by the end of the war, Cray returned to Stormwind from Kalimdor to learn that his father had perished -- though no details were given. Cray, despite his anger at his father, was overcome with grief -- primarily at being alone. Left only with a letter full of regret and an empty apartment in Stormwind, Cray turned to alcohol for comfort.
Some time later, he was found, passed out, on the steps of the Stormwind Cathedral by Archbishop Benedictus. Between Lord Grayson Shadowbreaker and the Archbishop, he was nursed back to sobriety and converted to a follower of the Light. And thus, Cray began his training as a Paladin of the Light. He joined the Argent Dawn and later the Argent Crusade, swearing to protect Azeroth from its greatest threats.
After the fall of the Lich King, Cray was ordered to remain in Northrend to deal with the remaining Scourge -- something he was fairly happy to do until the Shattering broke the world apart. Then, convinced that he should be handling the larger threat, Cray left the Argent Crusade... only to find himself alone in the world once more. Before he could fully return to his former downward spiral of addiction, he joined the Pia Presidium where he has built a sturdy home and family for himself.

Another of those religious Paladin-types Lahkin hangs around with. Not too sure I like the influence they all have over him, but I know Erelyn will keep an eye on Lahkin.
Other than that, I guess time will tell.
Cray is strong in his convictions and is has a strong sense of justice and action, which I respect. I know he has a weakness to the drink, which he fights on a daily basis. I can appreciate that kind of battle with self-control – it tells me he is constantly striving to be a better man. Some days that is difficult for us all.
I have disagreed with his approach on several occasions, but I can never disagree with his heart and intention. A good man, to be sure.
Sir cannot be complete until he, at last, turns around to face his own demons. Then, and only then, will he be a force to be reckoned with.
Sir Cray Auchtin is a good friend of mine and has always proven he can be depended on if something goes wrong. He can be quiet at times, and has a lot to say at others. I’ve seen him struggle with coming to terms with who he is, and I hope he knows that I’ll always have his back, just for the asking. Or maybe if he doesn’t ask.
Thank you, Cray, for being you.
