Physical Description:

At 5'10" and smallish, Athanion is not a terribly imposing man, looking more like a well-built priest or mage than a man who customarily wears sheet metal. He carries himself with an almost military rigidity, and a sort of unruffled calm.

His blond hair has a slight reddish tinge, and is neatly parted over his left eye; his eyebrows are a shade darker, and rounded a bit to give his face a mild-mannered look. Behind wire-rimmed spectacles perched on a straight nose are steady, clear, cornflower-blue eyes. Thin cheeks taper down to a neat beard and a firm chin.

His armor is scrupulously clean and in good repair.

Athanion's voice is cultured, mellow, carrying that same impression of being stoically unsurprised at anything.

Threat Assessment:

Variable based on opportunity and the moral standing of his target. In impromptu combat, he is average at best. However, the more opportunity he has to utilize his brain, the deadlier he becomes. He is a combat pragmatist, due to his limitations, and so will use very unconventional tactics if he feels it is warranted.

Special Abilities:

He is not the Batman of paladins, but he is quite capable of constructing plans on the fly. He is extremely observant, and knows how to get information out of people without their realizing it.

Flexible thinker. Diligent. Rigidly moral. Loyal where he feels it is merited. Down-to-earth.

Negative Personality Traits:

Subtly sarcastic. Difficulty empathizing. Occasionally misanthropic.
