It’s time to organize for the Spring Festival of 2012! No, I mean, REALLY time to organize. Our planners are a little backlogged with that icky thing called “real life” and the date is coming up fast. Crazy you say? Well, duh. We’re the AAMS!
Don’t be fooled, of course, the Spring Festival is a server event, not just something us crazy couriers put on. Show some server pride, mon! We’re currently seeking event runners and other aid in organizing the Festival.
If you want to help or have a great idea you want to put in action? Then look no further! Well, further than the forums, at least. Eh-heh.

Today’s Food’s question is:
If your character had an animal totem, what animal would it be?
As a little background:
In Native American culture, totems are both guardians and teachers. The idea goes that every animal has special talents or attributes associated with it, based off of peoples’ studies about the animal’s habitat, manner, appearance, and capabilities. Example: Goat species are known for their surefootedness and agility on steep rock faces. In totem form, this can mean that a person is literally agile, but it can also mean that he is figuratively agile, able to adapt to life’s many troubles as nimbly as a goat hopping from cliff to cliff.
Another thing to keep in mind is that the totem is not necessarily who a person “is”, but who a person “can be” OR what that person needs to learn in life. For instance, a really shy person might have a lion totem, as the lion spirit is there to protect and teach the shy person about a lion’s courage. For this reason, some branches believe that one person has up to 9 different animal totems: each for a different purpose and representing a different aspect of their bearer.
If all that is confusing, when in doubt, your totem animal is probably the species you are most fascinated by.
It’s our grand opening, and sneaky little advertisements are popping up all over!
